Event Walkway Tip: The Casino Tunnel to The Dome

A simple way to avoid crossing under the highway

If you’re attending an event at The Dome at America’s Center, there’s a convenient indoor/covered option that many locals use: the Lumiere Link pedestrian tunnel (connected to the Horseshoe Casino complex in Laclede’s Landing). This tunnel runs under the interstate and brings you out right by the Dome/America’s Center side, so you can skip the street-level walk under the highway.

Crossing under the highway from The Landing can feel uncomfortable for some guests—there’s fast traffic, noise, and depending on the time of day you may see more loitering. If you’d rather keep the walk simpler and more direct (especially at night, in cold weather, or with kids), the tunnel route is usually the easiest move.

How to use it

Enter Horseshoe Casino from The Landing side.

Look for signs for “Lumiere Link” (sometimes described as a connection toward the Dome/Convention Center).

Follow the tunnel/walkway through—it leads to the Dome/America’s Center side near an event entrance area (commonly referenced near Entry B in event materials).

Helpful notes

The tunnel was built specifically to connect the casino/Landing area to the Dome side under the interstate.

During big events, staff/security and signage are often more visible—if you’re unsure, just ask inside the casino and they’ll usually point you the right way.

Accessibility and availability can vary by time/event, so always follow posted signs and venue instructions.
